MOTHER OF GOD: A NEW MUSICAL (December 2022) @ SOUTHWEST ARTS CENTER
Many know the story of Jesus, but few understand the untold story of the mother that changed the world. Mother Of God is an inspired retelling of the sacrifices and lengths that Mary of Nazareth endured to bring into the world the Savior humanity desperately needed. It’s an adventure of hope, a test of faith, an evolution of love, and a quest through peril. With these discoveries, Mary embarks on her journey as the Mother Of God.
TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS (May 2022) @ SCAD
Tiny Beautiful Things follows Sugar who is an anonymous writer for an online advice column. Throughout the play, Sugar receives real stories from many individuals dealing with pain, trauma, grief, & happiness. The difference being that Sugar is responding to these real stories as herself, & not responding in a formal, government manner.
PUERTO RICO GOES DARK: STORIES OF MY PEOPLE (February 2019) @ SCAD
This production captures the stories of innocent lives who were affected against one of Puerto Rico’s greatest challenges: Hurricane Maria. In an effort to do so, verbatim theatre is used to retell these stories before, during, & after the Hurricane.
2018 ATLANTA MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL (August 2018) @ OUT FRONT THEATRE COMPANY
This festival produces staged readings of brand new musicals in development. I was fortunate enough to be the Artistic Assistant Intern to the previous Artistic Director and founder of AMTF, Benjamin Taylor Davis.

Meanwhile, Nina, a childhood friend of Usnavi’s, has returned to the neighborhood from her first year at college with surprising news for her parents, who have spent their life savings on building a better life for their daughter. Ultimately, Usnavi and the residents of the close-knit neighborhood get a dose of what it means to be home.
